7) STUART SUTCLIFFE COMBO |
A song about the super-shy 5th Beatle. A bombast of images of that Jimmy Dean lookalike, back then when he was a member of the Fab Four Nobodies. Did he have any expectations ? Had he sensed the future of his pals ? Mmmh, good question. We don’t care about the Beatles, though. |

8) ALL THE PRIESTS |
Where have I seen that face before ? Straight from our Criss Cross days. We always wanted to record this song in a proper way, so here it is. We still like it very much -and hey, listen to that apocalipse of a guitar sound ! |

9) MEAN STREAK |
The only cover version we recorded. We always loved this song, although the original Cliff Richard version is so tame. Vince Taylor’s cover on his otherwise dreadful ‘Live in 1977’ was so......punk and sexy instead -and somehow a natural choice for us. |

10) ENTERTAINING MR. JOE |
This is about famous controversial playwright Joe Orton, the darling of 60’s London intellighentsia. In paying this homage, I tried to imagine how he looked at his lover Kenneth Halliwell in their room in the last moments of their relationship in July 1967, before Halliwell hammered him to death.

11) BE MY PARTNER |
A lively plea for unconditional love, pushing its way to bliss. Be my partner and you’ll write home about me. So let’s get together darling -but don’t be touchy and always remember every moron needs an audience. Including me. |

12) CHRISTMAS IN DEUTSCHLAND |
Since we haven’t even recorded a demo of this one in the past, here we have our chance. Straight out of The Gags’ Songbook, this song might be misinterpreted. It’s a simple ode to a very poor Xmas in pre-war Germany -and sorry, but the ‘Ilsa’ is definitely not that famous character in those ‘70’s Z-movies. |

13) IN THE NAME OF SEX |

A humble love song from Yours Truly. |
